WOJO Terms & Conditions

Last updated: December 7, 2025

1. About the WOJO Website and Service

WOJO operates an online trade recommendation service dedicated to identifying, and helping Users (as defined in Clause 6.1 below) to identify, high-quality and reliable tradespeople such as plumbers, builders and other specialist tradespeople for various jobs that need doing (the "Services"). The Services are accessible using the website www.wojo.uk (or any other domain name that WOJO may use from time to time), and for the purposes of these Terms of Use, both "'Website" and "Services" shall have the following definitions:

Website includes any mobile applications or platform-based applications that WOJO offers—such as applications on social-networking platforms—through which the Services are delivered.

Services include:

  • any and all website facilities, services or applications offered by WOJO on the Website excluding any Paid Services or "WOJO" Memberships mentioned in the original text.
  • any contact form or contact telephone number submitted through, or found on, the Website;
  • any publicly available information about tradespeople ("Members") (see definition below), trade recommendations, input or information provided on the Website by Users ("Content").

WOJO reserves the right at any time and from time to time, in its sole discretion, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Website or the Services (or any part thereof) without notice. You agree that WOJO shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Website or the Services.

WOJO is itself not a tradesperson, contractor, or builder and is not in the business of providing any trade or building services. WOJO acts solely as a facilitator enabling Users to obtain recommendations for Members and to contact Members directly. WOJO is not:

  • the agent of,
  • a member of any trade body with, or
  • affiliated with

any tradesperson, User, or Member listed on the Website.

All tradespeople listed on the Website are independent businesses and not employed by WOJO. Any work or job that you contract a Member to do must be pursuant to a separate agreement between you and the Member, and WOJO shall have no liability in respect of the same.

You understand and agree that WOJO does not guarantee or warrant that the tradespeople you are matched with through the Services, or the work they carry out, are suitable for your requirements or comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Interpretation

In these Terms of Use:

"Member" means any tradesperson, contractor, business or individual who has registered with WOJO and been accepted onto the Website in order to be recommended or contacted by Users.

"Paid Services" (if and where applicable in later sections) refers to any enhanced or premium services that WOJO may offer to Members or Users, as amended or renamed throughout this rewritten document.

"User" has the meaning set out in Clause 6.1 below.

"Website" means the website www.wojo.uk or any other domain, mobile app, or digital platform used by WOJO from time to time to provide the Services.

"Services" has the meaning set out in Clause 1 and includes all free-to-access facilities and publicly available content, excluding any paid-for enhancements.

Any reference to "you" or "your" refers to the User accessing or using the Website or Services.

Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. Words in the singular include the plural and vice-versa. References to "including" or "includes" shall be deemed to be without limitation.

3. Acceptance of These Terms of Use

3.1 By accessing, viewing or using the Website or the Services, you confirm that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and any policies, guidelines or rules that may be posted on the Website by WOJO from time to time.

3.2 If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you must immediately discontinue use of the Website and the Services.

3.3 WOJO may modify these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Website or Services following such posting constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms of Use.

4. Access to the Website and Services

4.1 Access to the Website and Services is permitted on a temporary basis. WOJO may withdraw or change the Website or Services without notice.

4.2 WOJO does not guarantee that the Website or any content on it will always be available or be uninterrupted. Access may be suspended or restricted due to maintenance, technical issues, or business reasons.

4.3 You are responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Website through your internet connection are aware of these Terms of Use and comply with them.

4.4 WOJO reserves the right to refuse access to the Website or Services to any User at any time if WOJO reasonably believes that the User has failed to comply with these Terms of Use.

5. WOJO's Role and Responsibilities

5.1 The Website allows Users to search for, browse, and contact Members. WOJO does not:
